Ray Lent began his financial services career in the life insurance industry in San Francisco in 1974. Over the years, he has qualified for many awards, including the prestigious Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, as well as becoming a twenty year recipient of the National Quality Award. Early on, Ray recognized the importance of comprehensive financial planning in addressing many of his clients' needs.
By 1982, Ray had earned the prestigious Chartered Life Underwriter's (CLU) designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. As a CLU, Ray successfully completed the ten-course curriculum covering in detail such subjects as Social Security, pension and retirement planning, estate and gift tax, income taxation, business insurance, and life and health insurance.
In 1984, Ray expanded his practice to include investments. This opened the opportunity to become involved with the New York Stock Exchange, mutual funds, the NASDAQ, and other equity markets.
Today such factors as inflation, increasing government regulation, and complex tax rules require a new level of expertise. As a Registered Investment Advisor, Ray provides his clients access to his considerable know-how in asset allocation, portfolio modeling, and risk management. He skillfully integrates all three phases of capital development, creation, conservation, and distribution. This has enabled him to build many long term relationships with clients of diverse assets, goals, and interests.
Joe Niederkorn entered the financial service industry in 1970 after receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance. In developing his expertise, he has completed many educational programs including achieving the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) degree. In 1986 he completed the extensive curriculum required for the American College's Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) degree. The ChFC credential includes all aspects of financial planning, investments, insurance, and related fields.
In addition, Joe has completed the comprehensive examinations given by the International Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners (CFP). He has also met their rigorous experience and ethical requirements and was granted the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1992. The CFP mark is the most widely recognized certification in the financial planning profession.
In 1995 Joe completed the requirements for accreditation by the National Association of Estate Planning Council. Such accreditation is available only to CPAs, Trust Officers, CLUs, and attorneys specializing in the estate planning field and is the benchmark for professionals in estate planning.
Joe is well informed, technically qualified, and has the rare ability to make complex financial information easy to understand. He observes that, while many people know quite well how to earn money, few know how to invest to both maximize their retirement income and best preserve their wealth for their family's legacy.
