Bill comes from a family of financial and insurance professionals. In the depths of the Great Depression, Bill’s grandfather founded an independent insurance agency on the East Coast which served his community for more than 50 years. Following duty in World War II, Bill’s father joined the firm as a junior associate and worked his way up to Chairman of the Board.
Continuing the family tradition, Bill became a stockbroker for Birr-Wilson, a San Francisco based member of the NYSE. He later became a Regional Vice President for a subsidiary of Shearson Lehman Hutton.
Inspired by the strong trust and personal relationships that his family had developed with their clients, Bill was naturally drawn to the same time-honored values found at The Putney Financial Group - a perfect fit for his expertise and talents as an RIA.
