A University of Virginia graduate, Todd Hurlbut’s impressive credentials for portfolio management include: Second VP of Investments at Salomon Smith Barney in New York and San Francisco, Private Wealth Manager for Bradley & Co. in San Francisco, Founder and Managing Partner at Everett Capital Management in Sausalito.
Todd’s fond memories of growing up include working for a father who ran a successful insurance agency years and learning firsthand the importance of superior client service when hundreds of clients are counting on your good judgment and timely response. His father’s advice “Do the right thing, and let the chips fall where they may.”
Todd has had a passion for the capital markets. In particular, he became fascinated by behavioral finance that looks at the impact our psychological makeup has on investment decisions. In pursuing this research, Todd earned the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation administered by the Market Technician’s Association which covers behavioral finance, risk management, technical analysis, and ethics.
Todd is an avid swimmer and sailor. He lives in Sausalito with his wife and two children.
